A traditional Kiwi campground, surrounded by a shallow river on one side and beautiful NZ bush on the other. Wake up in the morning to the sound of tuis and magnificent wood pigeons. Located across the road from Buffalo Beach. less than 5 minutes from Whitianga town, we are the only campground near the beach Consists of over 50 campsites, powered and unpowered, cabins and tourist flats.
A 10% deposit may be taken to confirm booking.
The balance can be taken from 7 days of arrival, otherwise payable on arrival.
We reserve the right to not accept a booking for any reason.
We have a No Pets policy, but during the off season we may allow dogs in the campground, guests should ring in advance to confirm, under no circumstances do we allow pets in our accommodation or to sleep in vehicles when guests have accommodation.
Late Check In, our reception is usually closed at 7pm, and our front gate is locked between 9 and 10pm, these times are notified at our office, if guests require a late check in they must contact us by email and or text to make arrangements for a late arrival. Its unacceptable to turn up late and no arrangements have been made as the camp will be closed.
Guests must email or text their cancellation telephone calls and messages are not acceptable.
If guests cancel outside of 7 days prior to arrival, they will lose the deposit If they cancel within 7 days of arrival, the balance owing may be charged to the credit card given.
If guests move out of the campground prior to their departure date, and we believe they are not coming back, the booking can be cancelled.
We do not give refunds.
The only exception would be delays/cancellations due to road closures.
Any issue with a reservation made through Booking.Com, Expetiia, or Agoda at our campground should be directed to them, Do not expect us to resolve them Please.
